The Next Generation Education Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2006 to provide for the needs of young men in grades 6 – 12 in the greater Washington (DC) metropolitan area. Next Generation’s mission is to increase school participation and success rates of adolescent males of color, and prepare them to succeed in college preparatory high schools and higher education. Next Generation will accomplish its mission through a combination of educational, fitness, athletic, and recognition programs provided through schools and community organizations in the greater Washington Metropolitan area.
Young men benefiting from Next Generation’s programs and services will reflect a significant desire to succeed in school and life, and will maintain a lifelong commitment to learning, living well and serving others. As these young men transition into adulthood, they will be well-positioned as adults to support their families, pass on lessons learned to others, and use their talents to tackle challenges that they, their communities and the world will face during their lifetime. They will also maintain optimum levels of personal fitness and well being, and know what it takes to lead healthy, purpose driven lives.
Please continue to visit our website to learn about our programs, special events, educational resources, and other opportunities available to young men. |
